A couple of years ago, my friend Harmony Stempel approached me about directing an original show to premiere at the Prague Fringe Festival. She wanted to do a piece about her years as a nude model, a formative experience in her life. She recruited her friend and collaborator Andrea Kuchlewska (don’t ask me how to say it) and we sat together in a room for several weeks developing a play.
Just about 3 years later, that award-winning show is opening Off-Broadway with a wonderful new director. It has been performed in Prague, Hong Kong, Amsterdam, New Hampshire, and New York City. I’m so thrilled to have been a part of it.
My#Throwback Thursday is our first ever kickstarter video for Human Fruit Bowl, which is rumored to have gotten us into a few festivals on it’s own.
