I’ve been awfully quiet here working on a few projects, but I thought I’d send out a piece I wrote recently.
A year ago, Chantal Akerman took her own life. She was a huge influence on me, and actually the reason I attended film school at City College. I wrote about being her student for Fandor. You can read it HERE.

I'm a twice Emmy-nominated media maker.
From 2014 until 2020, I taught and managed ambitious community media projects at BRIC in Downtown Brooklyn and produced several Emmy-nominated short films and PSAs.
I am currently an associate producer at Sugar 23, the creative company founded by Academy Award-winning manager-producer Michael Sugar, who shepherded such award-winning projects as “Spotlight,” “The Knick,” “The OA,” “Maniac,” “Dickinson,” “13 Reasons Why” and “I Am the Night,” among many others. I am helping the launch of an ambitious slate of scripted and unscripted podcasts.
